KEYSTONE – Γνώση, Επιχειρηματικότητα και Νέοι – υποστήριξη των νέων για τη μετάβαση στη νέα οικονομία – is a project funded by the EU ‘Erasmus+’ Programme under ‘Key Action 2’ (Cooperation for Innovation and Exchange of Good Practices).

At its heart, KEYSTONE is a programme to help young people become social innovators.

Its main objective is to run a ‘Collaborative Support’ programme for young people. The aim of this support programme is to provide spaces – in ‘Community Labs’ – that allow young people to express their creativity.

Community Labs are linked to existing services for young people. They aim to give a voice to young people who are normally not listened to. They provide a safe space in which Young People can express themselves, explore their talent and learn new skills around ‘social innovation’. Young people can use these skills to help solve problems in their community

Social Innovations in KEYSTONE are things invented by young people for young people. They use new ways of thinking and new tools – like social media – to improve people’s lives

KEYSTONE works in five EU countries: Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain and the UK. It’s co-ordinated by Arcola Research – an independent research organisation based in London, UK. The other partners are:

Universidad Internacional de la Rioja (UNIR)La Rioja, Spain

BorgoretePerugia, Italy

Mind2InnovateAthens, Greece

Catholic University of Portugal – Lisbon, Portugal

KEYSTONE started on 31st January 2018 and will run for 2 years.
